If you choose to register in this way, we will collect certain profile information about you from the social media provider.

- Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device's location for local trading features. You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information by disabling your Location setting on your device.

- Google Maps Platform APIs. We may share your information with certain Google Maps Platform APIs for location-based features.
- Third-Party Marketplace Platforms. When you link accounts from platforms like eBay or Facebook, we exchange authentication data with these services to verify your account ownership. We only share what is necessary for authentication and do not share your Misplay.gg activity with these platforms.
- Search Infrastructure. We use Typesense, a hosted search service, to make your collection searchable and sortable without loading all of it at once. For each item in your inventory we index what the card is, its set and number, its condition and grade, the quantity you hold, its current estimated value, and your gain or loss on it. Your notes are never indexed. This information is stored only to serve your own searches, is always queried scoped to your account, and is removed from the search index when you delete the corresponding item.
- Other Users. When you share personal information or interact with public areas of the Services, such information may be viewed by all users. This includes linked marketplace account usernames displayed on your profile.
4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
In Short: We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

Linked Marketplace Accounts
Our Services allow you to optionally link accounts from other marketplace platforms (such as eBay or Facebook) to verify your identity and build trust with other users. When you choose to link a marketplace account:

- eBay: Username and user ID (used to verify your account and display on your profile)
- Facebook: Name and user ID (used to verify your identity)
How We Use This Information:
- To display a "Verified" badge on your profile indicating you have linked a legitimate marketplace account
- To show your linked username so other users can verify your marketplace history
- To build trust between buyers and sellers on our platform
Your Control:
- Linking marketplace accounts is entirely optional
- You can disconnect linked accounts at any time from your account settings
- When you disconnect, we delete the associated account information from your profile
We do not access your transactions, messages, or other private data from linked marketplace accounts. We only use OAuth authorization to verify your account ownership and retrieve your public username.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information.
